ORGANIC HOUSE CHURCH WORKSHOP IN FLORIDA

A team from Mission Outaouais was invited to help organize an “Organic House Church” Workshop that was held in Florida in August 2023.

It was above and beyond what anyone could have prayed for or imagined.

The event was birthed through a word that was given to a sister in June about the lack of unity in the Church. This inspired the idea to organize a weekend to share about how God was building a network of house churches and His Body in Canada. The idea to hold a small training weekend with leaders soon became a national event open to all and was very well attended. People came from as far away as Chicago and Canada to participate.

Speakers spoke about networking, house fellowships, equipping tools, leadership, how to manage offense, servant leadership and handling conflict as well as living like the Book of Acts.

Hats off to everyone who helped make this weekend a huge success!! Special thanks to Garrett & Ilse Peterson, Christopher & Jessica Lewis, Ever Calamaco, Kevin Song and our brothers from Chicago for your wonderful teachings and encouragements.

Thank you Jesus for helping us grow more like you every day, for disciplining us and leading the way. Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!! Come Jesus come!!

Ephesians 4: 11-13

11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
