April 2024 Two sisters in the network went to a mission trip in Cuba. They receive a burden and desire to go after prayer and intercession. They did not have an agenda and did not know anyone there. They went in faith trusting God has a plan ahead of them. They aimed to intercede for the land and to meet a person of peace, as outlined in Luke chapter 10.
On day four they met the person. A lady and her husband who did a lengthy fast in the beginning of the year. They have a Baptist background. The couple were asking God in prayer for a life in the Holy Spirit.
They are pondering the life of the disciple in the Book of Acts and so on. They thought, “Is this still on for today? Please show us.”
As the two sisters came and started sharing to them what God is doing here in Canada. The couple were greatly encouraged. They felt this is such an answer to their prayers.
The sisters came back and reported to the church how God gave them to the person of peace in Cuba. This led to a second mission trip at the last quarter of the year.
