The team was invited to Burn's Lake BC by a family of disciples to do a Kickstart weekend.
This family had been activated as disciple makers for four years in the area and has seen lots of fruits amongst the harvest. Numerous people have already been baptized, healed and delivered as they've been preaching the Kingdom of God consistently, alongside facing opposition.
Seven people got baptized overall as people from four different churches came together to experience the Lord in various ways. Their faith was built up during the 2 days of outreach in the village. It was very stretching for them as they stepped out to pray for their neighbours but the Lord was glorified through it all! A lady was healed of her symptoms from lupus, an elder repented and was baptized on his own faith and finally received the gift of tongues after seeking it for many years.
Help us pray for the disciples in Burns Lake .
«Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.» Philippians 1:4-6
EPHESIANS 4: 15-16
15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
