What an incredible and unforgettable 12 days in Bella Coola!! In October, some members of the team received in prophecy that the team would go West and then journey North to a Native community, another person saw white capped mountains. God fulfilled His word by sending the team to Bella Coola, British Columbia in late January! We would like to extend a huge thank you to Chief Noel Pootlass who invited us to minister to his wonderful community!
Four nights of “Revival” meetings were held and every evening was more memorable than the last! It went from 15 people the first night to over 50 on the last!!! Wow!!
We had an amazing afternoon of outdoor worship on the Saturday where FREE prayer, FREE worship and FREE food was offered!! Over sixty people received food and prayer that day! The town will never be the same nor will the team!
Over the 12 days that the team visited the town, people got baptized, an innumerable number of people were prayed for and were healed and many many people received deliverance.
One man contacted the team following a social media advertisement and he wanted prayer for deliverance. Not only was he freed from addiction but he heard the gospel and decided to give his whole life to Jesus and get baptized. His transformation was so immediate and shocking that his aunt wanted such joy and freedom too. The night before the team left she repented, was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Spirit as well.
Another highlight was a woman who had been severely assaulted by two people a few years before. One day when she had attended a church meeting that spoke about salvation, forgiveness and eternity, one of the persons who attacked her gave her life to Jesus. And this woman realized that if Jesus can forgive her, who was she to withhold forgiveness. She also wanted that same forgiveness for herself. A few weeks before the team arrived, she called out to God and asked Him to help her finally be free from addictions and her past. So, the team's arrival was an answer to her prayer. She received freedom and emotional healing. She buried her old life, all the pain and anger and came up out of the baptism water, a new creation in Christ, totally free and ready to embrace her new life, to love and serve the Lord with her whole heart like never before.
God has awakened a remnant in Bella Coola that will prepare others for the times to come. It was a privilege to serve God and all the beautiful people from beautiful Bella Coola!!
