FREEING KICKSTART IN FORT ST-JOHN, BC

March 4th – 5th

The team had an amazing weekend in Fort St-John area where more than 40 people attended the Kickstart!

One of the younger German sisters recently baptized shared her new faith with her co-worker who was deeply touched. This co-worker attended the Kickstart and wanted to be baptized. So, this newborn sister evangelized and baptized her own friend in less than a week!

And, while this young co-worker was being baptized, a young man started to weep uncontrollably. He was overcome by emotion and wanted to be baptized as well but doubted that the Lord could forgive and change him. His brothers and brothers-in-law surrounded him and just loved and comforted him. Then, the team shared the power of repentance with him and he decided to get baptized. The following day, he so desired the gift of tongues that he sought out one of the team members to pray for him and he was overjoyed when he received it too!

This same young man was dealing with a court case and was very distraught about the whole situation. During the last day of fellowship together, the whole family encircled around him and prayed that God would make a way where there didn’t seem to be any way. Everyone prayed for favor and grace from God in the situation. A week later, the team received the good news that the young man would not be deported but would only be on probation for a year.

What joy to know that our Lord and King is on the throne and gives grace and justice to those who follow Him!

Romans 3: 3-4

3 True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful,

does that mean God will be unfaithful?

4 Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true.

As the Scriptures say about him,

“You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.”
