What an incredibly moving weekend the church experienced in Summerland. People from Kamploops, Kelowna and Summerland came together to learn and experience “house church” during this two-days training. The love and unity that was built amongst the participants was a testimony in itself of God’s great love and how He knits our hearts together.
People from Canada, Japan, France, Ukraine, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyszstan, Philipinnes, South Africa and Romania all gathered together to experience church in an organic way. They broke bread, confessed their sins, prayed and read the Word together. Learning from the book of Acts but also from underground churches in persecuted countries.
Also, during the weekend, two young siblings aged 18 and 19 decided to repent and get baptized. Their parents who are amazing examples of Christ’s love could not have been happier! Everyone rejoiced with them to see their grown children follow in theirs and Jesus’ footsteps!
Colossians 2
2 I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. 3 In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
