The Kickstart in Mission BC was one we will not soon forget!!
A young man drove 6 hours to come to the meeting to receive deliverance from unclean spirits that were leading him to drug addiction and suicide.
This young man was violently set free then baptized into the Kingdom of God!
Praise Jesus for new life!! He is a new creation in Christ!
Another lady who had suffered much abuse, repented of her sins and buried her old
life in baptism and received the gift of the Holy Spirit and tongues.
A week before the Kickstart, a member of our team had a run-in with a semi-truck while going out on a mission with a couple of students. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the accident but the car was totalled. Amazingly, a brother came to the Kickstart with an envelope and said that God had told him 3 months earlier to “Tell Oliver that this is for a car”. At the time, he did not understand. But when he heard of the accident, he understood that God knew 3 months in advance that the accident would happen and that the team would need funds to replace the car. God is amazing!! He is really Yahweh-Yireh! Our provider!!

14 Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
