After six months on the road, one of the last stops on the way home was in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The mobile team was anxiously awaited to participate in the baptism of a Ukrainian woman and to pray for other believers.
The Ukrainian woman had arrived in Canada only 6 months earlier and was hired by a believer who shared the gospel with her. She was touched by the love of God and the Holy Spirit. She desired to give her life to Jesus and so, she repented and received deliverance the day before the team arrived in town.
It was a privilege to participate in her baptism in water and the Holy Spirit. She received the gift of tongues and was so amazed to experience God’s power in her. Her husband also heard the gospel and is counting the cost to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This woman had a complete fresh start with a new life, not only in a new city and new country but in a new Kingdom!
Another sister in Christ received prayer for deliverance during the few short hours the team was able to minister. It was a very short but blessed time with the body of Christ in Thunder Bay. Praise God for family!!
1 Peter 2:9
9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
