A "First" Celebration of Life!

October 2nd, Mission Outaouais had the honour of performing for the first time a "Celebration of Life".

The church came together to honour the memory of our dear departed sister in Christ, Pauline Rochon who passed on June 13th, 2022. Friends from all over came to pay her homage. Doris Schuster and Lori Ellen came from the Barrie Ontario to represent their church and Stéphane Rémy and brothers came from Montreal, Quebec.

Pauline met Jesus in the summer of 2018 and had moved to the Outaouais area in 2020. She joined the Mission Outaouais home church network and traveled to many of the believers’ homes and participated in many events during the last years. She bought a vehicle in which she could sleep to not disturb anyone. She loved people, she loved children, she loved life and she loved Jesus. She especially loved her family and wanted more than anything for them to be "saved" by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We pray that her family saw the love of God demonstrated to our sister Pauline through the love and care she received by the members of the church before her passing and through the beautiful celebration that was held to honour her memory.
