The true gospel had been shared with a family of Catholics in Elma, Manitoba and they were convicted of their need to repent and be baptized and so the team met up with this lovely lady and her granddaughter in Falcon Lake on their way home a few weeks later.
The two women repented and were baptized and both received the Holy Spirit and gift of tongues!! They were overjoyed to experience the love, joy and peace of the Lord in such a personal way.
The elder lady had been praying to experience more intimacy with God since the passing of her late husband and the arrival of the team was an answer to her prayers. Praise God for answered prayers!
1 John 5: 14-15
14 And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests,
we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
