Pioneer Training School in Chénéville, QC

In September, we held a Pioneer Training School in the woods of Chénéville. People came from Québec, Ontario and even British Columbia to take part in the school! For 12 days, the students and staff lived as a community and their character was pruned through daily living and sharing the tasks of cooking and cleaning. They learned how to heal the sick, cast out demons, preach the gospel, baptize people, make disciples of Jesus, recognize false doctrines, prophesy, and the basics of house fellowships. They learned through teachings, but most importantly through practical application! They went on the streets multiple times to put their faith into action. Three of the students also got baptized during the school, some got healed and some set free. We also held a kickstart day as part of the school, where three more people got baptized! All through the school the students formed deep bonds. There were lots of tears, laughter, dancing and worshipping with musical instruments! Towards the end of the school the students were sent out in teams according to Luke chapter 10 to find people of peace on the streets. They prepared in prayer and then went where the Holy Spirit lead them. They came back in the evening with lots of testimonies, and one man turned to Jesus and got baptized, and came to the school to testify! Even to this day, most of the students are still in close relationships and doing ministry together as one family in their own communities.

He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
